Brussels, 30th November 2022 – CEMA, the association representing the European Agricultural Machinery Industry, renewed its Board of Directors. The members election took place on 21st November 2022 during a hybrid meeting in Brussels.

Thierry Krier (KUHN, Axema) was confirmed as President for another term of two years. Paul Snauwaert (CNH Industrial) and Anthony van der Ley (Lemken, VDMA) were reconfirmed in their position as Vice-Presidents and joined in their role by newly-appointed Alessandro Malavolti (AMA, FederUnacoma).

Speaking after the re-election, Mr. Krier said: “I am delighted with the confidence of CEMA members as the Board unanimously elected its leadership team for the next two years. CEMA is a strong and respected voice in Brussels, which is key to our industry. The farm machinery sector is dynamic and healthy. With our innovative technologies we are ready to help farmers and other customers of agricultural machinery live up to global challenges, such as food security, and the need for increasingly sustainable food production.”

The Board of Directors composition was officially appointed by the CEMA National Associations, reunited in the General Assembly.

The CEMA President, as well as its Vice-Presidents, are elected for a two-year term and are eligible for re-election once.
