CEMA is glad to announce that Mr. Stefan Top, member of the CEMA Board and Managing Director of AVR will participate to the Farm Demo Conference taking place in Brussels on 11th May 2022.
Mr. Top will take part to the final panel discussion which will touch upon the topic: Future of demo farms’ networks for sustainable agriculture and will share the stage with Bram Moeskops from IFOAM and Jean Baptiste Dollé from IDELE.
The Farm Demo Conference is an event jointly organized by 3 Horizon 2020 projects – Nefertiti (www.nefertiti-h2020.eu), IPMWORKS (www.ipmworks.net) and IPMDecisions (www.ipmdecisions.net). It will bring together high-profile experts to tackle the debate over the main tools and decision support of IPM demo farms, a new approach for strategical advice, facilitation and support of peer-to-peer learning, the added value of demonstration and the role of networks of demo farms to promote the general adoption of sustainable farming practices.
The conference is open to all relevant stakeholders (farmers, advisory services, retailers, agro-industries, researcher, and policy makers) involved in the development of sustainable agriculture. The whole day will be dedicated to the presentation of the networks and tools, the specific approach to promote peer-to-peer exchange of knowledge and experiences, many success stories and testimonies of farmers and advisers involved in the networks, and detailed outcomes, methods and tools developed to promote the general adoption of sustainable farming practices.
