The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) has released a series of documents outlining the importance of Ukraine and the Russian Federation for global agricultural markets and the risks associated with the current conflict. Recommendations are notably made to protect productive food and agriculture assets, including standing crops, livestock, inputs and machinery, from damages or any conflict-induced disruption.

CEMA fully supports the work of the FAO, and notably the efforts to promote global sustainable agriculture mechanization.
