Call for Urgent Action to Postpone the Legal Obligations Related to the SCIP Database

Following the outreach to President von der Leyen already reported HERE, 42 European trade associations wrote to the German Presidency to avoid negative consequences for the European circular economy caused by the Waste Framework Directive (WFD), specifically Article 9 regarding the Substances of Concern in Products (SCIP) Database.
CEMA keeps following the issue and will report any progress.
Meanwhile, the first version of the database was published HERE.
