For the 19 use-cases of the IoF2020 project, this was the opportunity, after one year of work, to present their achievements and learning points through the pitch session. Interesting discussions and exchange of views on the application of IoT solutions in the agri-food sector filled up the sessions.

Furthermore, as previously announced by CEMA, both IoF2020 partners and external stakeholders from the agri-food chain discussed recommendations for the preparation of the IoF2020 Open Call during parallel workshops. Indeed, the event also set the stage for an initial discussion of the €5 million IoF2020 Open Call that will be launched in the second half of 2018.

Such discussions have been organized around three workshops focusing on:

  • New Areas/Use-cases;
  • Needs for IoT based innovations;
  • New Regions.

Open Call for new partners to join!

The discussions carried out during the parallel workshops, which were meant to provide inputs to the IoF2020 Project Steering Committee to draft the future Open Call for new teams to enlarge the IoF2020 ecosystem and create more impact on the European farming and food sector. More details will follow soon!
