The call will be launched on 15 April 2010 and more information and guidelines can be found on www.ict-agri.eu. See also attached invitation.
The aim of this specific call is to enable joint transnational research projects based on complementarities and sharing of expertise within ICT and Robotics in Agriculture.
Projects are expected to apply a systems approach addressing farm level integration of information technology, communication technology, automation and robotics. Projects must have a clear European added value by being carried out on a transnational level.
The ICT-AGRI ERA-NET – Coordination of European Research within ICT and Robotics in Agriculture and re-lated Environmental Issues – is a EU-funded network of cross-thematic nature relating to Theme 2 (Food, Agri-culture and Fisheries, and Biotechnology), Theme 3 (Information and Communication Technologies) and Theme 6 (Environment including Climate Change).
ICT-AGRI is launching transnational research calls based on funds from participating countries. The aim is to pool fragmented human and financial resources in order to improve both the efficiency and the effective-ness of Europe’s research efforts.
