To come up with position papers, detailed regulatory proposals, follow up new items and defend our positions on the right decision level of the European institutes can only be done by the active contribution of more than 50 technical experts from member national associations and their member companies. A significant number of Project Teams are operational today.

The decisions on the startup of new project teams and the objectives, scope and deadlines of these project teams lies in the hands of the TECHNICAL BOARD. It is also authorised to give permission for project teams to start negotiations with third parties like the European institutions.

And as legislative initiatives on product safety, road safety and environmental safety risks is steadily increasing, so is the involvement of CEMA.
