CEMA is the European Committee of associations of manufacturers of Agricultural Machinery. By Agricultural Machinery is understood agricultural tractors, agricultural machines, self-propelled machinery (such as harvesting machinery, sprayers, balers) as well as trailed and mounted machinery (such as ploughs, mounted sprayers, slurry spreaders), outdoor power machines and forestry and municipal equipment.

Founded more than 40 years ago, in 1959, CEMA is the European body that brings together 13 national associations active in the domain of agricultural machinery. The associations and their member companies are very much interested in technical matters, economical evolutions, standards, European legislation such as the machinery directive, road traffic harmonisation, safety improvement, industrial development.
